Mystic Mountain has long been one of the top Ocho Rios tourism attractions in Jamaica. And now they have been recognized by the Jamaican Ministry of Tourism with not only the 2011 Tourism Service Excellence Award for Ocho Rios but also as the overall National Champion.

This prestigious award is presented under the Tourism Service Excellence Programme (TSEP), from the Jamaican Tourism Product Development Company (TPDCo) the highest accolades given in recognition of excellence in service delivery.

Geared towards promoting excellence within Jamaica's tourism industry and recognizes the efforts of those who deliver service at an exceptionally high level. Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA), Evelyn Smith was quoted as saying the finalists for 2011 demonstrated that service delivery is not a “one-off moment”, but rather “but moments so woven together into…their daily life and work or (that of) their organization(s), that they become one with excellence”.

We couldn’t agree more. Delivering on of the best Jamaica activities with a high degree of service is not simple. It takes the coordination of multiple internal working groups plus cooperation with our partners and stakeholders. Mystic Mountain was one of 12 finalists of Hotel and Attractions and we applaud them all for their efforts in keeping the tourism industry in Jamaica strong with high quality product.

The awards were celebrated at the Ritz-Carlton Golf and Spa Resort in Montego Bay, on Saturday December 8, 2012 with Mike Drukalich accepting the award on behalf of RainForest Adventures, Mystic Mountain.

This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Management and staff at Mystic Mountain who have consistently gone above and beyond to deliver a world class tourism product day in and day out.

Please help me in congratulating them on winning this prestigious award.
